Reece Callies helped the Burnaby Mountain Selects to an impressive showing in California.

Callies, a Grade 10 student at Langley Secondary, plays midfield for the Burnaby-based field lacrosse travel team. The squad was in San Diego for the 2011 Adrenaline Challenge Report, where the Selects went 4-1.

The team’s lone loss came at the hands of the eventual champions, FCA SoCal Blue, 8-4.

In the team’s four victories, they outscored their foes 45-13.

This was the final event of the season.
