Fundraiser for Paralympian hopeful
With an upcoming show in California, a fundraiser is being held for local dressage rider Stephanie Ross.
Ross who has cerebral policy, is riding in her first international show and is aiming to obtain her qualifying scores for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
The show, the Dressage Affair, runs March 10-13 in Del Mar, California.
The Langley teen, who has been competing for three years but riding for much longer, won three medals at the B.C. Summer Games.
Tickets for the fundraiser, which will be held at Jimy Mac’s Pub on Wednesday, Feb. 16, are $20. The tickets include a burger, fries and drink.
