Six gold for Woo Kim students

Six gold, nine silver and three bronze medals were among the haul for students from Woo Kim Tae Kwon Do at the taekwondo national championships.

The local club was competing recently in Winnipeg, sending 10 athletes who returned with 18 total medals.

Jennifer Jasper won gold and bronze, while Charles Calogiros, Veronica Martinez, Eliana Calogiros, Sebastian Gomez and Keaghan Reed all won gold and silver in their categories.

Zakary Kotzer and Tavia Jasper each won silver.
