Trio make camp roster
Three local gridiron stars have been named to Football BC’s U18 mini-camp invite list next month.
Defensive back Jeremy McLean, defensive lineman Chris Schwartz and running back/kicker Kalen McMurchy were among the list of 132 invitees for the camp, which will be held May 21-23 at Simon Fraser University.
Following the camp, the roster will be whittled down to 40 players and that team will represent B.C. at the 2011 Football Canada Cup in Lethbridge from July 9 to 15.
