Spartans pair representing Canada
Having helped Trinity Western win the national university championship in March, two members of the Spartans volleyball team will look to lead Canada to the gold medal this summer.
Rudy Verhoeff and Marc Howatson were named to Canada’s roster for the upcoming FISU (International University Sports Federation) Games.
The Games run Aug. 12-23 in Shenzhen, China.
Trinity Western coach Ben Josephson will serve as an assistant on the team.
