Spartans off to Brazil
Four members of the Trinity Western Spartans men’s volleyball program have been selected to Canada’s junior national team.
Lucas Van Berkel, Brad Kufske, Derek Thiessen and Branden Schmidt earned the honour following a 47-player tryout camp at the men’s national training centre in Quebec.
The four will compete at the world junior volleyball championships July 31 to August 10 in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
