Jr. Thunder fall to powerhouse Adanacs
Facing Canada's top junior A lacrosse team, the Langley Jr. Thunder kept things close for the opening 20 minutes before the Coquitlam Jr. Adanacs exploded for eight goals in the middle period.
The result was a 14-5 victory on Thursday night at the Langley Events Centre in B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League action.
Dylan Quinn, with two goals, and Reegan Comeault, with a goal and three assists, paced the Thunder offence.
Sean Lundstrom and Adam Will chipped in with a goal and an assist apiece and James Rahe had a pair of helpers.
The loss drops Langley's record to 5-9 while Coquitlam improved to 14-0.
The Jr. Thunder will look for a win on Sunday at the Langley Events Centre against the Victoria Jr. Shamrocks (8-4).
