Blaze ground Jays

The Langley Blaze used a balanced attack, scoring runs in five of the seven innings, while Karl Malacek allowed just two hits over five innings.

The result was a 7-0 Blaze victory over the North Delta Blue Jays on Tuesday night at Mackie Park in U18 B.C. Premier Baseball League action.

Zach Mihic drove in three runs, while Mike Krische, Jerod Bartnik, Matt Cratty and Ricky Bertrand had one RBI apiece. Aaron Dick was perfect on the mound over the final two innings, retiring all six batters he faced.
