Jr. Blaze pound Twins

The Langley Jr. Blaze used a seven-run fifth inning to blow away the North Shore Jr. Twins 15-5 on Wednesday night.

Matt Strother drove in three runs, while Justin Lawrence had a double, a triple and one RBI as Langley scored 15 runs on 10 hits. Mike Billows also had a pair of RBIs.

Preston Kokatailo picked up the win for the league-leading U16 baseball team, who  improved to 30-5 and stretched their lead to four games in the B.C. Junior Premier Baseball League.
