Jr. Thunder in fight for final spot
The Langley Jr. Thunder hold a slim lead for the sixth and final playoff berth.
The Thunder had a great chance to put some distance between themselves and the Burnaby Jr. Lakers in the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League standings.
But Langley lost four games last week, which leaves them two points up on Burnaby with one game remaining. To make matters worse, the Lakers have three games left and hold the tiebreaker.
Langley lost 16-5 to Coquitlam, 13-4 against New Westminster, 13-11 in overtime to Victoria and 16-9 to Delta.
The Thunder close the regular season on Thursday (July 7) against the Delta Islanders.
