Silver lining for Thunder

The Langley Thunder fell short in their quest for the gold medal.

The Mackenzie Norsemen  edged Langley 3-2 in the bantam C championship game on Sunday in Victoria.

Trevor Hawley earned the Warrior Sports Fair Play Award.

In the Thunder’s other games, they beat Port Coquitlam 10-0, lost to Cowichan 4-1 and defeated West Kootenay 9-0.
