Burroughs makes short list
Langley's Kyle Burroughs is on the short-list for Team Pacific.
The list was released by the B.C. Hockey Association on Aug. 10.
Team Pacific will be made up by players from B.C. and Alberta and will compete at the World U17 Hockey Challenge in Windsor, Ont. from Dec. 29 to Jan. 4.
Also on the list are a pair of Aldergrove hockey players: defenceman Shea Theodore and forward Brandon Potomak.
Theodore played last season with the Major Midget Hockey League's Fraser Valley Bruins, while Potomak attended Kelowna's Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy.
Burroughs, a defenceman, played last season with the MMHL's Valley West Hawks.
