TWU basketball: UBC drops Spartans
The Trinity Western Spartans men’s basketball team dropped to 2-4 on the season after dropping a pair of road games to the fourth-ranked UBC Thunderbirds, 104-75 and 103-70.
Kyle Coston’s 19 points led the Spartans in the first game as he was one of four starters to score in double figures. Tristan Smith had 15 points and six assists, while Calvin Westbrook and Sean Peter each had 14.
Peter led the team in the second game with 21 points, while Wes Mallory came off the bench to chip in dozen.
