The Langley Rugby Club opened the 2012 season with a pair of impressive victories.

Both the club’s first and second division teams were in action at home against the United Rugby Club.

The first division side won 18-10 while the seconds prevailed 30-10.

For the first division, Mike Bott scored two tries, while Andy Maher had another and Patrick Vaydo converted a penalty kick.

Jon Bright also had a solid game, coming through with a blocked kick.
