Bobcats eighth at junior provincial championships
A match-up with the eventual provincial champions knocked the Brookswood Bobcats from a shot at a medal.
The Bobcats, who were hosting the B.C. junior girls provincial championships at the Langley Events Centre, lost in the quarter-finals, 55-39 to the Oak Bay Breakers on Thursday afternoon.
Brookswood, seeded 11th, had knocked off the No. 6 Notre Dame Jugglers 63-53 earlier in the day. The ’Cats closed with a 64-50 loss to Holy Cross and a 62-44 defeat to W.J. Mouat.
