The Langley Junior Thunder are hoping a chance to play on their home floor for can help them secure their first victory of the season.
The Jr. Thunder fell 9-7 to the host Delta Islanders on Saturday (May 5) in B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League action.
The loss left Langley at 0-2 as they prepare for their home opener at the Langley Events Centre on Thursday (May 10) against the Port Coquitlam Saints.
Against Delta, Langley was done in by a second period which saw them surrender six goals.
For the Jr. Thunder, Matt Messenger led the attack with four goals and an assist, while Nick Stone had two goals and two helpers.
