Thunderbirds top Langley Athletic

Langley Athletic saw their two-game win streak come to an end with a 2-1 loss to the visiting Vancouver Thunderbirds.

David Malamura had the lone goal for the home side in the defeat last week (May 30) at McLeod Athletic Park in Pacific Coast Soccer League action.

Athletic was sporting a mini two-game win streak thanks to consecutive victories over the Victoria Highlanders.

Langley (2-4-0) will try to get back in the win column on June 7 when they host PoCo City FC (4-1-0) at McLeod Athletic Park. Game time is 8 p.m.
