North Langley pitchers show off their arms
North Langley Cardinals' Cole Perrie hit 58 miles per hour on the radar gun to win the North Langley 11/12 Golden Arm pitching challenge.
Perrie and North Langley Blue Jays Dawson Hanzlick were tied after both pitchers hit 54 mph, before Perrie was able to muster up a bit more juice on his fastball.
In the 9/10 Golden Arm pitching challenge, it was North Langley Red Sox' Hyunwoo (Tim) Jang taking top spot, hitting 51 mph.
The events were part of North Langley's skills competition day and closing ceremonies on June 2.
