Langley Blaze edge Tritons 1-0

Aaron Horanski drove in Michael Dagg in the second inning for the game’s only run as the Langley Blaze beat the White Rock Tritons 1-0.

The two U18 B.C. Premier Baseball League rivals squared off at McLeod Park on Tuesday.

Jon Bauer threw a complete game five hitter, striking out four and lowering his earned run average to 0.67.

He also improved to 7-1 on the season.

The loss moves Langley to within a half-game of first place as they have a 25-6 record.

The team is back in league play on June 19 when they host the Fraser Valley Chiefs.
