Langley divers on the mark at provincials

Four local divers from the Fraser Valley Diving Club were on the mark at the B.C. summer provincial championships over the weekend in Victoria and for their efforts, have earned a trip to Saskatoon next month for the national championships.

Kaileen Lingham was first in the women’s B group in both the one and three metre boards and fourth in the women’s open one-metre board.

Kurt Breure won silver in both the men’s C group one and three-metre boards.

Dayna Lysak was second in the three-metre and third in the one-metre while Julia Reinhard was first on the five-metre, second on the one-metre and fourth on the three-metre.

All four will attend nationals.

And Breanna Nicols achieved a personal best on the one-metre board.
