Langley Bandits off to provincials

The Langley Bandits are going to the provincial championships.

The U16 fastpitch team earned that right after winning the district 8 championships at Abbotsford's Exhibition Park.

The Bandits broke open a tight game in the fourth inning, short-circuiting the Mission Voltage 7-2.

The victory gives Langley the right to represent the district at the U16 provincial championships July 6-8 in Port Alberni.

The Bandits are made up of players from Langley, North Langley, Mission, Chilliwack and Abbotsford.

The roster includes: Paige Caldwell, Leslie Campbell, Bailee Cuthbert, Meghan Griffiths, Miranda McLean, Kennedy Hoiss, Jade Jones, Layne Minaker, Alex Haddow-Murphy and Sarah Sandrel.
