Last chance for Walnut Grove volleyball camp

Registration is open for this summer’s Gold Medal Volleyball Camp.

The annual camp for male and female players in Grades 6 to 12, is held every July at Walnut Grove Secondary School.

The camp is split into three — a fundamentals camp, a fundamentals plus camp, and an advanced specialization camp.

The first is for players in Grades 6 to 8, the second is for Grade 9 players, and the latter is for players in Grades 10 to 12.

Costs are $115, $135 and $135, respectively.

They run from July 16 to 20.

The camp will be instructed by former UBC head coach Dale Ohman and former national team player Ross Ballard, who also had a 10-year pro career in Europe and now coaches at the high school level.

All campers must bring their own volleyball.

Deadline to register is June 29.
