Last chance for Walnut Grove volleyball camp

Registration is open for this summer’s Gold Medal Volleyball Camp.

The annual camp for male and female players in Grades 6 to 12, is held every July at Walnut Grove Secondary School.

The camp is split into three — a fundamentals camp, a fundamentals plus camp, and an advanced specialization camp.

The first is for players in Grades 6 to 8, the second is for Grade 9 players, and the latter is for players in Grades 10 to 12.

Costs are $115, $135 and $135, respectively.

They run from July 16 to 20.

The camp will be instructed by former UBC head coach Dale Ohman and former national team player Ross Ballard, who also had a 10-year pro career in Europe and now coaches at the high school level.

All campers must bring their own volleyball.

Deadline to register is June 29.

Applications can be sent to Sandy Herbert at Walnut Grove Secondary School, 8919 Walnut Grove Drive, Langley, B.C. V1M 2N7 or by email to sherbert@sd35.bc.ca.
