Langley's City Park set to host district baseball championships
Two local teams will be among the five vying for the district 3 Little League Majors championship at City Park.
Both Langley and North Langley have entries at the 10-day tournament, which will be contested at the Caleb Cook Diamond at City Park.
White Rock, Whalley and Coquitlam also have teams in the event for 11 and 12-year-olds.
The winner will represent the district at the provincial championships in Trail.
The tournament kicks off on Friday (July 6) and wraps up on July 15 with the championship final at noon.
The semifinals will be played on July 14 at noon and 3 p.m.
Langley plays on July 7 against Coquitlam at 11 a.m., July 8 at 1 p.m. against Whalley, July 9 at 6 p.m. against White Rock and against North Langley on July 13 at 6 p.m.
North Langley’s other games are against White Rock (4 p.m. on July 7), Coquitlam (4 p.m. on July 8), and Whalley (6 p.m. on July 11).
