Spartans' Ramage racing for Canada
Katelynn Ramage will race for Canada next month.
The Trinity Western Spartans middle distance and cross-country runner from Nanaimo has been invited to participate in the Canada vs. United States Junior Racewalk Dual Meet.
It will be held Aug. 19 at Hanlon's Point in Toronto.
Ramage won the Canadian junior racewalk national championships in Calgary on June 30, finishing the 10-km race in 56:48.5.
The race was held in conjunction with the senior racewalk national championships and the Olympic trials. Ramage finished an impressive third amongst all women competitors.
Ramage is entering her second season with the Spartans.
