Langley Thunder name new director

The Langley Thunder have added some experience to their staff, naming former Coquitlam Adanacs general manager, Les Wingrove, as the new director of scouting and special projects.  Wingrove will be responsible for all local scouting at the Junior B, Junior A and WLA levels.

“We are excited to have someone with Les’ resume join our team,”  said team governor Rob Buchan, adding that Wingrove’s knowledge of the game and the league will be a tremendous asset.

The Thunder are on the road until July 21 when they are back on the turf at the Langley Events Centre for a rematch with the Victoria Shamrocks.  Game time is 7 p.m.
