Langley's season ends with game three loss
It is game over for the Langley Junior Thunder.
The junior A lacrosse squad was swept three games to none in their best-of-five B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League semifinal playoff series.
Game three was on July 25 at the Poirier Sports Complex and the host Adanacs — the league's top team — raced out to a 5-0 lead after one period. And that deficit would prove to be too much to overcome, as Coquitlam rolled to a 14-4 victory.
Nathan Henare, Reegan Comeault, Jaeden Gastaldo and James Rahe had the Langley goals.
Langley had their best season to date, going 12-9 in league play and then sweeping their opening round best-of-five series over the Port Coquitlam Saints.
