Flamin' Mama’s, Runnin' Rebels win Hoopsfest
The Flaming Mama’s and the Runnin’ Rebels were the cream of the crop at the eighth annual HoopsFest BC tournament held at the Langley Events Centre.
The Flaming Mama’s won the women’s division with a 97-36 win over CapQuest while the Runnin’ Rebels won their second straight men’s title with a 84-82 victory over Athelite.
Joey Haywood (Runnin’ Rebels) won MVP honours while the all-stars were Diego Kapelan(Runnin’ Rebels), Andrew Sturgeon (Athelite), Andy Kaila (Athelite), Devin McMurty (Fear The Mamba), Sam Freeman (Fatt Boy Ent.)
Jen Ju (Flaming Mama’s) won the women’s MVP with Diane Schuotze(Flaming Mama’s),Charan Randhawa (CapQuest), Jessica Jazzarehee(CapQuest), Carling Muir (Hoop Scoop) and Cammy Tioseco (Wild Rice) named all-stars.
