Kodiaks snap skid
Three goals and five points from the McHaffie twins helped the Aldergrove Kodiaks snap a four-game losing streak.
Scott McHaffie scored a pair of first-period goals and the Kodiaks never looked back, defeating the Mission Outlaws 4-1 on Oct. 24 at the Aldergrove Arena in PIJHL junior B hockey action.
Stephen Ryan made it 3-0 with team's second power-play goal before Spencer McHaffie extended the lead to four after 40 minutes.
Mission's Danny Hall ruined Kodiaks' Mark Menicucci shutout bid with less than five minutes remaining.
The win improved Aldergrove to 5-7-1-0.
The Kodiaks next home game is Oct. 31 when they welcome the North Vancouver Wolf Pack to the Aldergrove Arena.
