Free scholarship seminar at Walnut Grove Community Centre

A free athletic scholarship information session will be held twice this weekend at Walnut Grove Community Centre.

The sessions are Saturday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and are run by Bill Green, a high school principal, baseball coach and the father of Milwaukee Brewers player Taylor Green.

The focus of the sessions is to help families determine what they need to do to achieve their goal of playing at the provincial, national, college, university and professional levels.

The sessions are free and are for athletes and their families.
