A solid pair of games has netted Cody Quiring player of the week honours.

Quiring, a left-side hitter and fourth-year member of the Briercrest College Clippers volleyball team had 26 kills, a dozen digs, one ace and one block in helping his team defeat the Lethbridge College Kodiaks in both matches.

His play earned him the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference athlete of the week award for Jan. 7 to 13.

Quiring, a Walnut Grove Secondary graduate, is working towards a degree in business.
