Storm no match for Gators
The Walnut Grove Gators are through to the Sweet 16 at the Fraser Valley championships.
The senior boys basketball team's offence was in full swing as they hammered the Chilliwack Storm 96-45 in an elimination game in the opening round of the Fraser Valley AAA regional championships on Feb. 20.
The game was played at Walnut Grove.
With the win, the second-seed Gators move to the next round where they will host the No. 15 Delta Pacers. The game will be played on Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. and the winner advances to the quarter-finals on Feb. 25 while the loser faces a must-win game in the double elimination tournament.
