Silver for McLean, Smyth finishes fourth
A trio of Langley Secondary wrestlers represented well at the B.C. high school wrestling championships in Duncan over the weekend.
Emily McLean won silver in her division, while Ben Smyth just missed the podium, finishing fourth.
Donovan Wilk also qualified for provincials, but failed to find the podium.
The trio wrestle as part of the Langley United Wrestling Club, which encompasses LSS, Brookswood, D.W. Poppy, Langley Fundamental and H.D. Stafford.
Altogether, the club has 30 wrestlers in Grades 6 to 12.
