Hayden Painting tops in division at Sun Run

Hayden Painting took top spot in the real estate/development and construction division at the Vancouver Sun Run on Sunday.

The Langley-based painting company had an average 10-km time of 40:48 over their 10 runners to defeat the 2013 champions in the division, Ledcor Group.

Leading the way was Hayden Painting’s Ryan Hayden, who finished 11th in the Sun Run’s men’s 30-34 category with a time of 33:52.

Female — Taylor Janzen (second, 16-18) 42:45; Angela Shaw (10th, 19-24) 41:23; Carmen Ballard (seventh, 25-29) 37:57; Charlene Janzen (seventh, 40-44) 41:30; Cheryl Stevenson (seventh, 45-49) 42:30; Kathie Schellenberg (ninth, 50-54) 45:59; Frances Steinfeld (sixth, 75-79) 1:21:03.

Male — Tom Barichello (14th, 55-59) 42:31; Alex Taylor (18th, 65-69) 53:12; Jack Airone (third, 90-94) 1:55.40.
