Twin brothers Yi-Fan Pan and Yi-An Pan led the Langley Junior Blaze to a fifth-straight victory as the U16 baseball team topped the Abbotsford Junior Cardinals 10-2.

The game was played Wednesday (June 11) night at Abbotsford's Delair Park.

The Blaze scored runs in six of the seven innings, including three runs in the sixth. Langley also took advantage of four Abbotsford errors in the game and improved to 22-2, good for top spot in the B.C. Junior Premier Baseball League.

Yi-Fan Pan struck out four and was one out way from a complete game, while his brother did it with the bat, driving in a pair of runs as he finished with three hits.

Matthew Poirier drove in three runs, including two on a triple, while Dominic Baptista had a pair of RBIs as well.

Langley will look for a sixth straight win when they visit the Vancouver Junior Cannons (8-17) on June 14 for a doubleheader at Queens Park.
