The North Langley Devils are heading into the provincial championships on a high note after successfully defending their title at the annual Richmond U10 supermite tournament over the weekend.

The Devils defeated the 04 Tri-City Titans 8-1 in the championship game.

The victory came on the heels of a dramatic 3-2 semifinal win over the 04 Ridge Meadows Pride, with Allyson Bartlett belting a two-run home run with her team down to the final out.

North Langley will compete in the provincial championships at Burnaby’s Squint Lake June 27 to June 30.
