Blaze keep Bulldogs winless

Louis Boyd and Bob Foerster drove in a pair of runs apiece as the Langley Senior Blaze beat the Burnaby Bulldogs 7-2.

The Pacific Metro Baseball League game was played July 3 at McLeod Park and came one day after the Blaze beat the Bulldogs 2-0.

The victories improve Langley to 6-1 while Burnaby remains winless at 0-5.

In the most recent victory, Ryan Eiswerth allowed just a pair of fifth-inning runs in his complete game victory. He struck out three and allowed just four hits.

Langley scored runs in four of their six innings with Brad Ferraro and Mason Cratty driving in a run apiece.
