The Langley Precious Jewels, who train out of the Langley Cheer & Athletics, were named grand champions at Cheerfest earlier this month in Abbotsford.

Langley Cheer & Athletics and Xtreme Cheer and Dance both find podium at Cheerfest

The Langley Precious Jewels were crowned the grand champions at Cheerfest 2017.

The team scored 82.9 points to win the large youth 1 division.

The Precious Jewels were one of three Langley Cheer & Athletics teams to find the podium at the event, which was held earlier this month at the Abbotsford Centre.

The Miners won the mini division with a score of 82.8 while the Lady Crystals were second in the small senior 1 category.

And another Langley cheer club, Xtreme Cheer and Dance, also finished atop the podium as X Factor won the small junior 1 division with 82.8 points. Xtreme’s Xtravagence came second in the small youth 1 division with a score of 81.4.
