Handful of Langley winners at sixth annual Fraser Valley Commercial Building Awards

The Hub at King George Station won the Judges’ Choice, Best Overall Entry Award at the event, held at Cascades Casino.

The Fraser Valley’s best buildings were feted Thursday night at Cascades Casino.

The sixth annual Fraser Valley Commercial Building Awards featured a record 40 finalists from commercial and industrial buildings built in the Fraser Valley, from White Rock to Chilliwack. New institutional, commercial, industrial, multi family, recreational and renovation projects completed between January 1, 2015 and August 31, 2016 were eligible.

Black Press was a Platinum Sponsor of the event, and Gold Sponsors were Re/MAX Commercial, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and Invest Northwest Publishing Ltd. Cushman & Wakefield and Greensheet Construction Data were also sponsors of the event.

The Hub at King George Station of Surrey won the Judges’ Choice, Best Overall Entry Award.

In addition to being held in Langley, the awards had a distinct local flavour, with a handful of Langley award recipients.
