Inaugural event featured cake decorating, face painting, food samples and more

Willowbrook Safeway Extra store hosted its inaugural family fun day.

The event, which took place on Sept. 2, the last weekend of summer break for students, featured cake decorating, food samples, a colouring contest, a scavenger hunt, face painting and more.

There was also $750 raised for Special Olympics, and eight Special Olympians were on hand to greet families as they came into the store.
