Learn to Fish: A Fraser River Experience

Metro Vancouver is offering youth, aged 7 to 15, the chance to learn to fish on Tuesday evening

Metro Vancouver Parks is offering young residents an opportunity to cast themselves in the role of fisherman (or fisherperson), with Learn to Fish: A Fraser River Experience on Tuesday, June 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Derby Reach Regional Park.

Participants will learn the basics of freshwater fishing. The event open to anyone aged seven to 15, who brings with them, a tidal fishing licence. The event is presented in connection with Freshwater Fisheries Society of B.C.

The course is free, but a $5 donation supports the Learn to Fish program. Registration required: www.gofishbc.com/events or e-mail: fraservalley@gofishbc.com.
