The 2016 recipient of the Bev Gold Youth Volunteer Award was Sierra Gustafson.

Seeking Aldergrove’s outstanding youth volunteer

Nominations sought for the Bev Gold Youth Volunteer Award

Do you know a youth between the ages of 13-18 that deserves credit for their efforts to make Aldergrove a better place to live?

If so, please nominate that youth for the Bev Gold Youth Volunteer Award.

Bev Gold, best known as “Mr. Flowers”, was well known in the Aldergrove community for spending many hours delighting children and adults alike with his wonderful balloon creations. Bev had a heart of “Gold” and a love of life: he always had a smile on his face and a joke to share.

The Bev Gold Youth Volunteer Award recognizes an individual ages 13 through 18, who lives or works in Aldergrove, for their outstanding service to our community without regard for their own personal gain.

The award is presented during the Opening Ceremonies of the annual Aldergrove Days Fair.

Nominate a youth (ages 13 through 18) by submitting a letter before July 10 with details about your nominee’s contributions to the Aldergrove community to:

Aldergrove Festival Days Society, Box 1642, Aldergrove, B.C. V4W 3R4 or email to: darla.aldergrovefair@gmail.com
