Fundraiser for Patti Dale Animal shelter in Aldergrove a near-sellout

Photographers Travis and Ashley Schultz were demonstrating the secret to getting a good posed photo with a pet Sunday as they took pictures of pets with Santa at the Patti Dale Animal Shelter in Aldergrove.

Deploying a squeaky toy behind the camera is their favorite move, followed by a little outright bribery in the form of an edible treat, if the owners permit.

As usual, the fundraiser for the shelter was a near-sellout, with most people booking appointments almost as soon as the event was announced.
