A collection of 19 photographs will be on display at the Fort Gallery later this month for the juried photography exhibition, altered spaces: interventions in the landscape.
Running July 25 to Aug. 19, the show explores themes of human intervention and intrusion in the wilderness.
Jurors reviewed 40 submitted pieces for this show.
The selected artists are: Deborah Colvin, Deborah DeJong, Graham Dowden, Kathleen Gaitt, Shira Gold, Kyle Graham, Fiona Howarth, Nancy Jeakins, Judy Jones, Edith Krause, Christine Leviczky Riek and Kendra Schellenberg.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, July 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. Many of the artists will be in attendance and will be giving short talks on their work.
The Fort Gallery, located at 9048 Glover Rd., is open Wednesday to Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m.
