Seventeen young racers took part in the 40th annual Soap Box Derby put on by the Langley Evangelical Free Church on Sunday, rolling down 18 Avenue near 200 Street.

Ten-year-old Tony Dyadiguroff of Langley was overall winner, with the fastest time.
