When 59-year-old Georgi Solakov went missing Sunday afternoon from a care facility in the 9600 block of 137A Avenue in Surrey, police launched a search.
The Surrey RCMP issued a statement saying the grey-haired Solakov suffered from dementia but had no other health problems.
He has wandered on previous occasions on foot or on public transit, they said.
He left without any ID, money, or bus pass.
Solakov turned up early Monday morning in Langley, safe and sound.
A resident saw him taking refuge in a doorway and contacted Langley RCMP.
He’s ended up in North Surrey and Burnaby during previous jaunts.
