Fire destroys RV next to Langley church parking lot

No injuries reported, vehicle was not occupied, fire department said

Fire destroyed an RV in a gravel parking lot next to the Christian Life Assembly church on 56 Avenue near 211 Street in Langley Township Friday night.

Three units of the Langley Township fire department along with RCMP responded to a reported fire around 11:30 p.m. and arrived to find the recreational vehicle burning near the wooded area at the north end of the lot, which is separated from the church parking lot by a concrete barrier.

The vehicle was not occupied, and there were no reports of serious injuries.

Fire fighters extinguished the blaze and turned off the propane tanks.

Initial indications are the blaze was not suspicious.
