Trinity Western House offers students and community a meeting place by the river

Students and community members are invited to stop by historic Fort Langley building (formerly Bedford House) for open house Saturday

Trinity Western University students — and the community at large — will soon have a new place to go when they need a break.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, during the annual Cranberry Festival, TWU will celebrate the official opening of Trinity Western House in Fort Langley.

Previously known as The Bedford House, TWU House is located at 9272 Glover Rd.

Both TWU students and local residents and visitors are invited to come and enjoy this public space to study, or bring a coffee and visit with friends. TWU sporting events will be broadcast on big screen TVs.

There will be indoor seating as well as patio tables to extend the seating outdoors during fine weather.

Food and drinks are not sold on site, but visitors are welcome to bring something with them to enjoy.

Plans include mounting outdoor concerts facing the river or indoor coffee house style concerts to showcase local talent.
