UPDATE: Driver in rollover crash on Surrey-Langley border remains in serious condition

Police investigating whether alcohol and speed were involved

One person remained in serious condition Monday following a rollover crash on Highway 1 on the Surrey-Langley border Sunday morning.

The age of the injured person, their gender and home town have not been released by police.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which closed the right two eastbound lanes for eight hours, causing serious traffic backups.

Surrey RCMP said speed and alcohol are being investigated as possible causes.
