THOMERSON / TAYLOR, Anne
Langley / Edinburgh, Scotland
Anne was born on 20 September 1928 in South Queensferry, Scotland. She lived in Edinburgh until she moved to Langley, Canada in 1984 when she married Dave. Anne embraced the Canadian way of life but always proudly retained her Scottish identity, traditions and culture. Anne and Dave enjoyed a caring and happy marriage and shared many interests together. She passed away, surrounded by her family, in Langley Memorial Hospital on 3 June 2008 at the age of 79 years. Anne was the dearly loved wife of Dave Thomerson and the late Charles Taylor, much loved and devoted mother of Christine, Kathryn, Andrew and Graham, devoted grandmother to Julie, Katie, Anna and Cameron, dear mother-in-law to Kevin and Lorraine, loving sister to the late Charles, Adrian, Isabel and Florence, much loved aunt and caring and loyal friend to all who knew her.
Anne was an Elder of Langley Presbyterian Church but due to ill health over the last few years she had to reluctantly give up her active role in the church. Anne suffered greatly from rheumatoid arthritis and her family would like to thank Dr Kenneth Ng for all his care and support to Anne.
A celebration of Anne’s life will be held at Henderson’s Langley Funeral Home on Saturday, 7 June at 11am. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to Langley Memorial Hospital. Anne will be greatly missed by all who knew her. For more information and book of condolence please visit:
