Dorothy, was one of 13 children of John and Mary McInnes of Winnipeg, Manitoba, her only surviving sibling is Gladys Bell (Russell) of Edmonton, Alberta. Dorothy dedicated her life as a caregiver of others. She became a nurse in her early 20’s and worked at St. Boniface Hospital and Grace Hospital in Winnipeg for over 30 years before moving to Langley, B.C. in 1982. She continued to work in home care with the Langley Home Care Society well into her 70’s. She always loved to help others. Our wife, mother and grandmother will be fondly remembered as a loving, kind and generous woman who always gave to others before herself. She had a wonderful sense of fun and humour which always brightened our days. We will forever miss her laughter. Her family would like to sincerely thank all of the staff, especially the nurses and nursing aids at Country Lane, Jackman Manor of Langley for the wonderful care that you gave her for the last 6 years. “You truly are Angels”. A special thanks to Dr. Wolchuk of Langley, B.C. for his care of Dorothy and support to her family.
